don't know - but it looks like the standard of surfacing in the car parks on Mars are just as bad as down here in Istanbul.

doesn't look like a liquid material to me...you need to check out the pictures without the shadow causing the effect. as you can see from this enlargened frame, it looks more like a sandy substance...that is the substance that stretches all around the rock and might or might not look like a puddle of wetness to the observer

seriously, are these genuine photos? when were they taken? how come JPL hasn't commented on them? i'm also interesting in the texture of those slabs...it seems to have both horizontal and vertical drag marks.
is this for real??
