KAHVE DÜNYASI - COFFEE WORLD
Whilst wandering around Eminönü I found a place that sells fresh coffee, it's good and it is cheap...no more instant for me and you can forget paying Gloria Jean coffee prices.
They are located in the far right hand corner of the old bus stop at Eminönü...

let me tell you where you can find the best fresh roasted coffee beans in Istanbul (at least 4 years ago, the last time i was there, it was the best place)...in Kadikoy behind the PO...in the Carsi... there's a place called Yavuz...down the street from the BEST bakery in Istanbul (was...don't know what's happened since i left)..i think the Bakery was called Petek...they had an excellent assortment of breads...their German Nut bread was great...don't start me thinking about their pasteries...i'll drool all over the keyboard!!...
Yavuz roasts two different kinds of beans...from Brazil...i have a coffee grinder so i buy whole beans, then freeze them. i even have a friend bring me or send me beans here in the boondocks...but due to gall bladder problems, i've been off coffee lately...man, life's gotten boring lately with all these 'holistic cures' oh well, it's temporary.
anyway...Yavuz will also sell you ground beans...but only buy small quantities if you want really good coffee.
that's all...enjoy you lucky caffein freaks!
