Hi all I have organized a dinner for whoever would like to socialize with other expats in Turkey and multicultural Turks. We will enjoy traditional Turkish tortellini: manti* at one of the long-established places specialized in cooking different variations of manti: Emek Manti Evi. (but there is also other stuff too, just in case if you should be vegeterian) I made a reservation under my name (pinar) since the restaurant is very small RSVP is essential. Please, confirm via pinar@istanbulians.com When: November 10th, at 19.30 Where: Emek Manti Evi Address: Köybasi Cad. 218, Yeniköy (near Yeniköy Iskelesi) the reservation is under my name (pinar) I hope lots of you can make it. Looking forward to meeting you pinar pinar@istanbulians.com *Manti: a Turkish specialty from central Asia. Small squares of pasta mostly stuffed with ground meat filling. Records show this dish has been served in Turkey since the late 1400 s. it is the Turkish version of tortellini.
