I cant stand BA as the hostess are snooty nose old hags compared to the lovely smiles on the young hostess on THY. CASE CLOSED!

What? THY are not as good. BA has self check-in, better quality staff, better food and the prices are good. THY hostesses in my experience ignore many passengers and aren't as professional as BA. If all you want is totty to look at then perhaps you should take GQ onboard with you!
I forgot to add that at Istanbul you don't have to queue for ages to get to the departure lounge with BA as it's tucked away to the left.

not stubborn just weighing the amount of times I have flown BA compared to the times I have flown THY and I know which one I prefer and at least THY does not have an annoying tune like BA.

Goodness me. Please don't express an opinion! I'm from another planet because I prefer BA, then data saying BA is better than THY is bull! Next it'll be, Well I've lived here for 10 years and I've flown with THY 50 times and BA once, and I've always found THY to be better!
Useful stuff.

I had the unfortunate experience of being stuck in a BA plane for 12 hours on a flight to LAX. Seats were uncomfortable and hardly any leg room. TV screen was broke. Food was thrown on to my tray. needed a blanket and pillow for my wife, asked 3 times and they never came back. toilet had a floater and severe skid marks. No limon kolonya provided. The steward was a very uptight . Plane was cold. my wife's seat would not recline. need I go on?

Was this a one-off experience or has it happened regularly? Were you in economy or in the hold?

I am not saying BA is the worst in general as I have flown with worst but generally THY are much better then BA. Personally the best airline I have flown is Virgin (but it was first class) or CP which was excellent. The worst would be a toss up between EL-AL (an old 707 with parts dropping off the plane) or JMC. United I have found to be very good aswell.

what you describe in your ba experience is stuff that probably has happened to me on many many different airlines...but we are comparing the average service quality of ba to thy and not the single worst experiences...even if we were doing that, thy would beat ba by length... i know what your problem is, you just like to see turkish chicks around you...but i wouldn't wanna have those unprofessional, rude and stuck-up sorry excuses for flight attendants anywhere close to me even if they were naked and willing to go a couple of rounds
