alright. what: christmas dinner who with: mom, rich brother and me. compulsory: nice wine list, european or world menu, at least 3 courses, nice ambiance. please no!: meyhanes, ocakbasýs, bright lights or loud. ahhh yes: classy not too snobby. dresswear: only time this year i'm wearing high heels. hole in my pocket: eh. large but not outrageous. 'tis xmas after all. area: with a full tummy, it can only be a cab ride from or close to cihangir. can anyone point me to such a gorgeous place?

no answers yet, huh i think that list of requirments threw everyone off...i'm also having a hard time recommending something that fits those. also i'm sad to hear that that's the only occasion for high heels... oh well... ;D

oh, come on. i used to have quite an inkling for good restaurants and gastronomy in general. since i moved here though, i dont think i've had anything other than kofte and maybe maybe some indian food. (my budget significantly suffered moving here). and i cant find a good list ( i had a zagat for nyc) to help me out. help help. please??

Vogue's in my building. Nice place. Have to dress up which is great (so many places are dress-down in this town). Popular place with clients. If you want me to nip up and see what they're doing for Christmas day/night let me know.

Ahhhh! Thanks Charly! i've looked at some of those names as well and Buzhol looks particularly suitable actually.
