Paneer Makhani - Paneer delicately blended in tomatoes and butter sauce
Ingredients: 1/2 cup. Paneer Cubes 2 tbsp. Onion Puree 1tsp. Ginger-garlic paste 1/2 tsp. Red chilli powder 1/4 cup Tomato puree A pinch Turmeric Powder 1 tsp. Fenugreek Leaves (if available) 3/4 cup. Milk 1tsp. Sugar 1/2 tsp Butter 1/2 tsp. Vegetable Oil
Method: 1. Heat the butter and oil in a pan. 2. Add the onion paste, ginger-garlic paste and stir for some time. 3. Then add haldi, chilli powder and tomato puree and cook till the oil seperates. 4. Add dry fenugreek leaves at the end (if available). No gravy should be left at the end. 5. Finally add the milk, sugar, salt and paneer cubes and simmer for 2-3 minutes. 6. While serving add the butter on top.
