That website is superb - the reader feedback especially made me laugh. No matter how many times I'm presented with proof I still find it incredible that some people can be so stupid. The woman actually enquiring about the post of clothes advisor to the first lady deserves to be put away for her own safety.
Regardless of our own personal opionions of Bush it should be patently obvious that the articles are a pisstake. How come then so many people on both sides of the political divide don't get it? Scary sh*t.

simonb, what is it that you think people 'don't get'?
the fact that the stupidest president in the history of the US has again stolen the white house? or that this website is a joke?
huh?
'splain yo self...

The fact that the website is a joke. There are pretty much an equal number of people expressing either admiration or disgusty about the view on the website as they were for real!! It disproves one thing though stupidity isn't limited to the republicans or even to Americans (see the canadian feedback)
Naturally I am in agreement with what you said about Bush - but that battle has been lost (again). Right now I'll happily settle for getting rid of Bliar.

assuming that blair's finished, and personally, this last resignation is the icing on the cake, who do you see waiting in the wings? and which party?
it sure seems like the US is in manure up to their belly buttons and it's getting deeper all the time.
aziz nessin once said that 60% of the turkish public was ignorant and he took all kinds of hell for that remark...
i am not afraid to say (but ashamed to admit) that the american public is closer to 80% ignorant...
but part of this is the fault of the media...just look at the likes of FOXNEWS and you'll see the prevailing mentality over there.
tsk tsk tsk...
i feel the human race is doomed...we're headed the way of the dinosaurs...fortunately, i won't be around to see it's demise.
at least i hope not!!

Too right - I'm gonna build me a spaceship and get the hell out of town ;D
Honestly though, no one really knows whether the 'other guy' will be better in the long run - there is always that grass being greener thing. I personally just can't stand seeing such a smug lying shitbag as Blair getting away with exactly the kind of things he so vehemently criticised the Conservatives for when they were in power. What was sleaze has now become a private life.
Anyway, to summarise, I liked the website. Good post.
